Policy for return, exchange & refund

We want you to love what you order from Eight9. But if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make the process as simple and smooth as possible.

We offer a 7-day return or exchange window from the date your original order is delivered.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be:

  • unworn and unused
  • unwashed
  • with all original tags intact
  • in its original packaging
  • accompanied by proof of purchase

Processing Fee

A flat ₹150 fee applies to all approved returns and will be deducted from your refund. This helps cover reverse pickup, quality inspections.

Pickup Attempts

For every approved return or exchange request, our courier partner will make up to 2 pickup attempts. If both attempts are unsuccessful, the request will be automatically cancelled.

Returns

Returns must be requested within 7 days of original delivery.

  • Refunds are processed only after the item is received and passes quality inspection.
  • Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
  • For COD orders, refunds will be issued through a secure refund link shared by us.
  • Shipping charges, COD charges, and convenience fees, if any, are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Exchanges are allowed only in case of a size issue.

  • Only 1 free exchange is allowed per order.
  • Exchanges are not allowed across different product categories.
  • Exchange requests must also be raised within 7 days of original delivery.
  • Any discount applied on the original order will not carry forward to the exchanged item.
  • The exchanged item will be billed at the current selling price.
  • The exchanged item will be dispatched after the original product is received and passes quality inspection.

After an Exchange

Once an item has been exchanged, it is not eligible for a refund to the original payment method. If approved, only store credit may be issued.

Bundle Offers & Sale Orders

Orders placed under bundle discount offers or during major sale periods are eligible for exchange only and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed. If you’ve placed an order in error, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Once processed, cancelled orders will have a flat ₹150 fee applied to cover processing & reverse logistics.

How to Raise a Request

To initiate a return or exchange, please write to us at contact@eight9.in and mention your order number. Items sent back without an approved request will not be accepted.
